| Warwick High School Marching Band... has just completed the impossible. setting standards so high, that no one thought they were possbile. getting knocked down off their pedestal, not once, but twice. being able to win one championship is amazing. winning two, is setting standards. but going into a season, with a completely new staff, new faces, we have never seen before. getting a director in JUNE. getting drill in AUGUST. getting part 3, exactly 6 days before our first performance. being able to memorize drill and music for it in 6 days. going into our first competition not knowing what God has to give us for all the shit we've been through. NO ONE in our community though we would do it again. NO ONE in cavalcade thought it was possible. sometimes WE didn't even think we could do it. but we did it. WE WON. 3 years in a row, thats a miracle. Rise of the Samurai Warrior 1st place. Undeafeated Season. 3 years in a row! | | |
| Rome: The God's of War Warwick Warriors CBA Champions 2007 veni, vidi, vici we came, we saw, we conqured 2 years in a row! :] | | |
| Oh wow, I never like EVER update anymore, because myspace has taken over my life =P theres not that much thats new.. Marching Band starts in 2 days =] this years theme: Rome: Elements of an Empire we're pretty much gonna kick some major booty Leadership positions were posted a few weeks ago.. Congrats to all who made leadership/solos and congrats to Brielle & Dan on making Drum Major I know you guys will do an outstanding job! Birthday party next week, kinda excited for that, only because my brothers coming out =D so yeah, i'll update again in another few months, otherwise, check me out on myspace www.myspace.com/cardboard_castles EDIT: congrats to, Betsy, Gabby, Steph, and of course Kaitlin for becoming (offically) the 2007 WHS Marching Band Piccolos, I'm very proud of all you guys! =] | | |
| I haven't updated this in like a few months, not since Kate died... Anyway, lets see, whats been going on..hmm a lot. Lets start with I've come to the conclusion that all guys suck (okay not all guys, but most of them are just womanizing man whores who need to get over themselves) big time, and for a fact, I dont care WHAT PEOPLE SAY long distance relationships do not work, unless of course, you're andrea, then anything works . ANYWAY. Thursday, as most of you know, I went for surgery on my eardrum (yes AGAIN) it went well for the most part..i have stiches behind my ear, and im on a ton of medication that either makes me extremly sleepy or extremly dizzy, either way I sleep way too much, hence why I have not been at school for almost a week [= Schools been going good for the most part, still not doing so well, but I'm hoping to get my grades up this marking period, schools almost over..in less than 3 months I'm going to be a junior, which means (wait for it...wait for it..) 1 more year till MILLERSVILLE with....RC FRALEY-HOGG! incase you haven't heard already, that is where i'm going to school...my whole entire LIFE depends on getting into millville, its been my dream since i was like 9, and people are like "you're only in 10th grade, most kids don't know what they want to be yet, they don't know what collages they're going to". Incase you forgot, im not like most kids. I've been dreaming of millersville since 5th grade, when we had a student teacher from there named Mr.Becker, besides the fact that he was CUTE, he was a really good teacher, and thats when I decided i wanted to be one...i've been changing on what kind I want to be...it's been mostly everything, BUT math, i hate math, I will NEVER EVER EVER teach math =P now that im done ranting and raving about what collage i want to go to and what i want to be, i think i shall be going, ill update again in another 3 months or so.. ps. MARCHING BAND STARTS SOON!! YIPPIE SKIPPIE IM SO EXCITED! | | |
| Beck Grove, 19 & Kate Schuler, 18
LANCASTER COUNTY, PA - An 18-year-old Lititz woman died and two other young Lititz-area women were badly hurt in an early morning crash today on West Newport Road in Penn Township, police said. Kate L. Schuler, 18, of 43 Tupelo St., which is in the Crosswinds development, died in the 1:27 a.m. crash, Penn Township police said.
Rebecca Grove, 19, of 1118 Orchard Road, Lititz, and Laurel Allen, 19, of Fairview Road, Lititz, were with Schuler in the Hyundai Elantra, which struck several trees, police said.
The crash happened in the 400 block of West Newport Road, east of the village of Elm. Schuler was in the front passenger seat, which took most of the impact, said Penn Township police Cpl. Rodney J. King.
Allen is in critical condition at Lancaster General Hospital, and Grove is in serious condition, an LGH nursing supervisor reported today.
Police are unsure who was driving. The car is listed to Grove’s mother, police said.
The car was heading east and went off the south side of the two-lane road, King said. It traveled through a field, across a small creek, hit a large tree and then bounced off two smaller trees, King said.
A county coroner pronounced Schuler dead at the scene. Ambulance crews from Manheim Township and Warwick Township responded to the scene, as did Penryn firefighters, the Northwest Crash Team and Warwick Township police.
The crash closed West Newport Road between Bomberger Road and Evans Road for just over three hours.
Witnesses to the crash are asked to call Penn Township police at 665-6959. Police would especially like to talk to a pickup-truck driver who briefly stopped at the scene.
Schuler’s death was the 56th traffic fatality this year in Lancaster County. There were 62 highway deaths here at this time in 2005. Rest in Peace Kate. You'll be missed, but never forgotten
